Opening Day - April 9, 2022

This Saturday, April 9 will be the Opening Day Ceremonies for the 2022 Spring Season at HTRBA.  We hope you can join us for an exciting morning.  HTRBA’s traditional parade will begin at 10 am.  We ask that all players and coaches, wear full uniforms, and meet up in the outfield near the sign indicating their team name at 9:30 am.  The ceremony will be approximately one hour, with games starting on A, B & C Fields at 11:30 am.  The snack stand will be opened for breakfast and lunch.

We have several special guests attending the day, including Mayor Jeff Martin, who is an avid supporter of our League and especially our athletes.  All of our sponsors have been invited to come to Opening Day Ceremonies to introduce themselves to our baseball community.  We hope you come, enjoy the fun, meet some new families, grab a bite at the stand, and help us kick off the season.

Additionally, as part of Opening Ceremonies, we will be honoring Former HTRBA President and longtime volunteer, Rob Allen, who unexpectedly passed away this January.  Rob was an important part of HTRBA, and his son still plays in our league.  Please join us to celebrate Rob and all that he has done for our league.

TSS Photography will also be taking player and team photos that morning as well.  Be on the lookout for an email from TSS Photography indicating your team’s designated time.  Please be on time to keep the process moving.  TSS will send you a link via email within 5 minutes after taking your photo wherein you will be able to see your proof and order photos.  TSS encourages siblings, coaches, and teammates to take photos together, so take advantage of the opportunity.

Lastly, mark your calendars for a few important dates:

·        HTRBA Trenton Thunder Game – Sunday, June 12th

o   Look for flyers from your Team Mom to get tickets to watch the Trenton Thunder play

o   All HTRBA players will be parading on the field with their coaches and standing with Thunder players for the National Anthem

·        HTRBA Annual Hit A Thon - Saturday, June 18th

o   This was HTRBA’s biggest fundraiser and a truly super fun day

o   Be on the lookout for dunk tanks, face painters, wiffle ball, and lots of Dingers!

We ask that you please park in the back parking lot since the small lot will be closed for vendors.  The directions to the back lot are located on the website:

We look forward to an exciting season.
